Sony PlayStation 4 Expected To Arrive Soon
Time is now for Sony to release their next Playstation after PS3, the Sony Playstation 4
It was in 2006 when Paul Holman, Vice President of Sony Technology Department announced that the next Playstation Sony will think of releasing will be in 2010, till that Sony will release Playstation Firmware upgrades only.
When Sony released their Playstation console in the market, then the idea of console gaming was dependant on Microsoft and Sony only, but today Nintendo Wii is giving tough competition to both of them. The motion plus technology which integrate real world motion technology and sends to the gaming screen through a sensor, has really brought new life to the console gaming industry, in which Wii is some steps ahead of Sony.
In their next release Sony will be doing some major technical changes to go ahead of their competitors, both software and hardware upgrade as well as adapting of enhanced motion sensor and many others. So let’s have a quick peak of the changes which we may see in the upcoming Sony Playstation 4:
Storage Unit: Sony may change the whole concept of hard disk, bringing downloadable game content concept in their PS4, the path which they already started with PSP GO, everything can be uploaded & downloaded online, leaving few possibilities of game cracks. This digitally distributed format will allow Sony to control their PS4 user in more amalgamated way.
Processor: To support more graphical details & faster processing power, Sony may migrate from 65 nm to 45 nm version of their cell BE. This will not only enhance faster execution but also will save power consumption, of which Kaz Hirai, CEO of Sony’s Playstation division mentioned in the last year.
Pricing: The PS3 of Sony cost around 600 bucks in the market, not a bad deal considering their technical details but it may happen that Sony will use more fabricated hardware and will keep PS4 price down. The next generation Playstation 4 may also ship only with the base unit, keeping the upgradable & attachable parts leaving for buying with extra money, helping in getting the base unit reaching more customers.
Enhanced Multimedia Capability: The Playstation 3 already have capability of running HD video, leading the option that their successor with have better resolutions and brighter image processing. Sony PS4 should offer high end HD gaming experience, may be with the possibility of 3 Dimensional scopes. Console like this also may be used as digital distribution system for several TV channels, of which British SKY TV started the count, making a tie u with Microsoft’s XBOX to stream their content in their console, making profit for both of them.
Motion Controller : Sony will be attempting to integrate the motion controller system in their Playstation 4, few years ago, only gaming experience users would get is vibration of their joystick, but in today’s world, users give real input in the sensor which make the game characters move according to their motion. Sony will be adapting this technology for sure and perhaps may make it better to support new types of games which users can integrate their senses in the game character.
Whereas there is no official announcement from Sony regarding their next generation of Playstation, console gamers are eagerly waiting to know the release date, specification & pricing details to get in their hand. The countdown has already begun.

PS3 did not scored good because it was expensive!
Four years is just silly speculation. There is no way that Sony will release a PS4 so soon. It will take them at least five years to make a worthwhile profit on the PS3. And allow time for games developers to really flesh out of the PS3s potential and produce the stunning games we are waiting for.
Sony always created great products, altough in the last years, they created everything in a hurry .. PS4 could be a disaster
right now i only have ps2, i’m my country PS3 also high price, then now sony will launch PS4? huh, maybe i will busy ps3 1st because it’s to expensive

Well given the complete disaster, both financially and in terms of the final product, that the PS3 has been, don’t expect this any time soon. Consoles usually have a minimum of a 5 year lifespan, and the PS3’s will probably be longer anyway so that Sony can try to make some profit on the stupid thing.
No information about the improvement in the tech compared to PS3. Hoping for the lesser price.
Sony playstation is one of the best thing in the world because while playing on them we forget about our worries and start enjoying our life, thanx sony for such a wonderful thing.

If Sony Play Station 4 comes with keyboard and Mouse then it will be a funny one. I don’t know what is the plan of Sony. I love play station and waiting to play on this new PS4.

I played on my mates PS3 the other night and I would take my xbox over any playstation any day of the week!
I think it’s too early to speak about the PS4, there is still an awful lot of potential in the PS3, not to mention that Move is still just coming out in winter, which is an important feature enough to make the PS3′s lifespan even longer.
hi there i have found some seepculation specs for the sony ps4 one of them is sony will possable use the intel 80 gb solid state flash drive not hard drive wich means the fastest console could get realy much faster of gaming intel ssd have a read speed 250 mb/s and a write speed of 170 mb/s compare that too the ps3 hard drive that be great for hard core gaming

I think the ps4 will be a few years out, there is a poll on few sites that shows that most people think the console is not likely to be released until the year 2012. Most of those votes were likely cast before the Playstation Move was released, so who knows… I think at this point the release date of the Playstation 4 is going to depend deeply on the success of the Playstation Move.
I am not so happy about the motion controller junk and the downloading only stuff. Sony should just add on to the PS3′s features and make the motion controller an accessory for PS4 and should make a copy of the game available at Playstation Store for download and a disc-based game for it.
because of the economic times, I’ll be very surprised if this comes out. It’ll have to be 500 flat or more.
