Apple: USITC to investigate if Apple violating Kodak patent
The United States International Trade Commission is looking into whether Apple’s iPhone is infringing on one of Kodak’s patents. In addition, RIM the manufacturer of the BlackBerry smartphones is being investigated for the same infringement.
Kodak filed an official complaint back in January claiming the two smartphone producers use systems to preview images on their iPhone and BlackBerry devices which Kodak’s patent.
The USITC has yet to make a decision on this case but Kodak is asking for a ban on the import of iPhones and BlackBerrys to the US unless the two companies agreed to settle with Kodak.
