Kristen Stewart to Play the Lead Role in “The Girl With Dragon Tattoo – 2011”?

You remember the famous lead role “Lisbeth Salander” – from “The Girl With Dragon blah blah” series right? Well, I just used the “blah blah” analogy because the movie and the novel have so many parts, but you get the idea here.

Anyways, rumor has it that the voracious Twilight Girl – Kristen Stewart had to give up on an offer for playing lead role in “ The Girl With Dragon Tattoo – 2011”. At this moment, she is caught up in her own gig midst the last installment of Twilight Saga.

A source informed us that Kristen Stewart was being considered for the role in Dragon Tattoo series but so far, she hasn’t been called in for a screen test. She may be out of time because of the possible clashes between the Twilight production and Dragon Tattoo. The latter series is about to go live in September and by that time, the starlet will be knee deep in Twilight.

Besides Kristen, the cast for Dragon Tattoo movie is likely to add up someone else to fill in Lisbeth’s boots. We don’t have a name out yet, but its being said that Natalie Portman has already waved the thumbs down gesture towards the hiring team of Dragon Tattoo movie. Either she is too busy or maybe she didn’t like the idea of playing the role of a female bisexual.

Natalie and Kristen are out of the list. So what else are they left with? Megan Fox? Nah, too cheesy and inappropriate for Lisbeth’s Role… Entertainment Weekly reports that the number of candidates for the female lead have been reduced to four newcomers, i.e. Rooney Mara who played in “The Social Network”, Lea Seydoux who was seen in “Robin Hood,” Sarah Snook from “Sleeping Beauty” as well as Sophie Lowe, Australian actress.

Despite the fact we do not know who will play the female lead in “ The Girl With Dragon Tattoo – 2011”, still we are looking forward to see the final part of Twilight Saga with Kristen Stewart.
