iPad Applications Make Your Tablet Device Useful for You

It has been a while since I penned down the accounts of my experience with the latest applications for the iPad. Believe me, 4 months down the road, each new application and update brings a different experience to me, in terms of interacting and using my iPad.

Apple’s main story of success lies in the software that they installed in the iPad. If it wasn’t for the software, the iPad would’ve been another Kindle or Kin on the block and no one would have given two cents to it. There are some core applications that make the iPad a useful device on daily basis, so the question is – can I use my iPad as a laptop or notebook alternative?

Well, software apart, the only thing that sets the difference here, is the type of applications we are getting for our iPad. Let’s start with a little inkling sensation about the inking thing! That said, developers of Penultimate released a handy application that just let you scribble anything on the iPad screen through your fingers.

Furthermore, during the time of iPhone 4’s release of iOS, Apple pressed hard on the aspect of multitasking. We’re gonna have to wait for a full hands on reviews about the multitasking thing, considering the fact that a new update of the iOS4 is bound to hit the market.

Lastly, I had the privilege of using “SimpleNote” on my iPad. It wasn’t anything like that of a touch and onscreen ink software, this app just lets you type down simple notes. You can create lists and synch it up with the same application on the iPhone. Or in other words, SimpleNote is an easy to use software on the iPad that helps you to take quick notes about anything.

Later on, you can synchronize those notes with your iPhone, so that you can have a 2 sided track of the “to do” things on daily basis.

So, as you see only due to software and various applications we are more interested in such devices as iPad. Specs do not always become the main factor when choosing a particular device.
