Skinny models are out the ramp shops… healthy models make a comeback

While skinny model face the axe Down Under, is the Indian ramp ready for bigger as well as better things? Yeah that’s true! The next time you crib why you didn’t have a waif-like figure, keep in mind that the well known trend of size-zero isn’t so fashionable at all. In fact, you may be chided for being so"skinny models" skinny.

With the Australian government mulling a ban on skinny models for preventing glamorization of unhealthy eating problems amongst young kids, it is clear than being thin is no longer in vogue. The present trend of airbrushing is used for making slender models look healthier.

A controversy sparked off in the global media when pictures of Spanish model, Kamilla Wladyka, were airbrushed prior to being featured on the cover page of a health magazine.

Now that health magazines feature size zero models, one simply isn’t aware of the fact where to draw the line between superficial fashion magazines as well as realistic health magazines.

The size zero concept that was responsible for body image issues as well as eating disorders amongst thousands of women has been finally rebuked by celebrity photographers, nutritionists, and youngsters all over the world. So the point is- ban skinny models!

Shuttervoice advises you to get rid of your skinny look…you still have a option at your hand to come up and make it into the ramp!
