Christopher Nolan, the guy is a genius or what? “The Dark Knight” was considered to be one of his masterpieces but when Nolan was asked if he thinks highly of the Batman flick, he just shrugged his shoulders and said, wait till you see “Inception”, that’s a real masterpiece.
It is said that Nolan spent 10 years on Inception’s screenwriting and preparation process, the movie had to be something awesome. Recently, I had the chance of watching Memento, I missed it dearly so I watched it again and again. Same thing will go with Inception because the more I see Christopher Nolan movies, I just can’t stop myself from gushing all over them.
Inception is not all about directing and production skills, everything about this movie is dazzling. Speak of the screenwriters, think of the scenes, watch the acting, hear those stimulating sound effects, your brain will just get hooked to all those things for countless days.
Take a look at the cast of Inception:
• Leonardo Di Caprio
• Michael Cain
• Gordon Lewitt
• Mario Collitard
Do you really think that Inception needs anything else? Most of the people go to the cinepax, to gorge on senseless action and typical Hollywood style explosions. To understand “Inception”, you’re gonna have to watch it twice. There are multiple levels and layers on which things happen and they are so many that it is hard for a first timer to make sense of them. Especially, if the person is into crappy A-Team movies…
There are tons of movies that have been created on the subject of dreams and alter realities. Inception has the same subject but it is original and breathtaking in a way, which is not similar to any other flicks. We see Dom Cobb (Di Caprio), a high profile criminal mastermind, who works with a bunch of organized mobsters. Their job is to make way into the subconscious minds of people through their deep slumber and steal the most possessed things. Yes, it’s the “Ideas” of various victims, the very same ideas that act as a “resilient parasite” in the movie.
Lately, Cobb somehow got himself down to the realization that he has to quit the “job” and be a good guy. In order to clear his name, he had to go through one last job – to plant an idea in someone else’s mind, instead of stealing it!
I won’t be going forward with rest of the story but I will let you know that stealing a damn idea wasn’t as easy as it sounded to Cobb. Especially, when certain targets already learned the tricks of blocking their mental state.
Enough said, go and watch the movie and figure the rest on your own. I can promise you one thing, when you’ll be trotting off after the credits sequence of Inception, your perception will have entirely changed about the world we live in….

“Inception” was a great film. I totally loved it. It has a very sculpted message. It slightly resonates for me with some ideas from Eastern philosophies about self realization and, to some degree, about reincarnation. Directing and cinematography were great, script was very well written, cast did a fenomenal job. Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
