How To: Optimize Your Google AdWords Account
According to industry statistics, search advertising is the best cost effective method for advertisers. This post guides you to optimize your existing Google Adwords account to overcome your unwanted campaigns that just went on web to steal your purse. Before you do anything further, you need basic information about your account such as the daily reports, ad tracking etc for the past 100 days.
1. Keyword Analysis:
The basic and foremost thing you need to do about your Adwords is to analyze your keywords. Expand your keyword base. Its an important step because, every day people use different combination of keywords for the same topic. Just immediately delete the under performing keywords. Hence you will know have a fresh keyword list with best chances of people coming to your site.
2. Fresh Ad Copy:
You need put up a few questions basically. How old is the ad? Are you using multiple ads? Are you using multiple landing pages. More importantly, don’t just delete an ad campaign purely based on CTR. Use deep metric information like conversion rate and sales. Allow more data for comparison.
3. Ad Bid Management:
Know your limits and budget. Don’t always try to make your ad in the top 3 of SERPs. It would not only reduce your further investment, but actually people may not do a good conversion rate for those top spots. Genuine people searching for something would target keywords on broader range. Bid balanced amount for such longtail keywords.
Final Analysis:
Just delete the unwanted ad campaigns. Under performing ads are never useful. Reduce your bids considerably. Means, you cannot bid so low to make your competitors on top. You decide the deal. Multiple campaigns are sometimes unnecessary. Try to integrate all of them into one or two. This would reduce complexity. Always use enough data before making any changes. Don’t blindly make a change just because something is not working.

AdWords is a great way for advertising on the internet, via the AdSense units (which are very used on websites), but it’s too bad that they don’t offer some free credits (like 10$)

well i think geographical area is one amongst the most important factor for success of adwords advertising. Also finding best keywords through the keyword research tool will play a major roll for your success in adwords advertising.
