BlackBerry: RIM to overlook older BlackBerrys when introducing browser
RIM which is the producer of the popular BlackBerry smartphones recently announced it will be releasing a new browser before the end of the year.
This came as a relief for many current BlackBerry owners but it does appear there is some bad news for those users with older BlackBerry devices.
The new browser will not be available for older Blackberrys and this is specifically why the browser has been shown on the Bold 9700 which is the newest device manufactured by RIM. The Bold 9700 was released in the fall of last year in the United States while it has been released in recent times in world markets such as Thailand and India.
