Big business has stopped substituting aging computers, software and servers during the worst of the recession. In the last quarter, the software maker mentioned that it saw signs that its corporate customers were all set to start spending again. The result of this quarter that follow a strong report from Intel Corp highlight that the trend is still continuing. Peter Klein, Microsoft Chief Financial Officer said that billings for its multi-year agreements with big giants increased in the quarter. Microsoft’s results related to the personal computer market. Worldwide PC shipments experienced a rise of 22 percent in the quarter, as per the research group IDC. For the April-June period, the net income Microsoft rose 48 percent to $4.52 billion, or 51 cents per share, from $3.05 billion, or 34 cents per share, last year.
