Apple Conducts Conference On iPhone 4G Issues

On Friday Apple held a conference to address the issues that were plaguing the iPhone 4G handset of the company. The conference began with a funny song that addressed the antenna problems that the company was facing. "Apple and iPhone 4G issues"This song was aired on a YouTube video. Steve Jobs, after the song was over, addressed the audience and said that of the 3 million handsets that have been sold users had complained to the company about the problems of reduced reception that occurred when the phone was held on the bottom left side. When faced with the phone allegations Steve Jobs added that there were other Smartphones in the market that also had similar problems and he cited the name of HTC’s Droid Eris.

He said that Apple only had 0.55 per cent of customers who had called in to complain about the problems. Only one of a hundred calls of the user dropped and the company was going to give the customers a free case if they purchase the phone before September. Those who were in the bumper refund scheme would get a total refund of the bumper if they returned their phone to the company in a span of 30 days from purchase. The company will not charge the customer for this return. The other owners of the iPhone could also return their phones to the company within 30 days of purchase.

Apple is sure looking after its customers well!
