Her return to the world stage follows an unstable couple of years in her private life during which she was hospitalized on numerous occasions and finally placed under the conservatorship of her dad. In 2008, December, her sixth Album i.e. “Circus” was released and 3.5 million copies were sold all through the world. In the meanwhile, her tour “The Circus” grossed more than $131.47 million. U2 which tops the list were the highest earning musicians in the world after earning $129.80 million in the year 2009.
