Dreamweaver CS5 Offers Few Improvements

Captivating all products of Adobe CS5 and then reviewing them is a tedious task. That’s why we went through each package separately and reviewed it on individual basis. Today, its time to review Adobe Dream Weaver CS5 and this review is going to be a little short.

We have a fair reason for that because Dreamweaver CS5 doesn’t have to offer a lot of things. It is pretty much similar to the CS4 predecessor and the only reason to go for a CS5 version of Dreamweaver is if you have been working on CS3 or older installments.

With that being said, it doesn’t mean that Adobe Dreamweaver isn’t something to die for. The program is amazing but $200 is not the right price for it. Our perceptions say that it is tough to tell if you should really go for DW5 – wanna know the reasons for not purchasing it?

• Dreamweaver 5 has no 64 bit mode
• There are only a handful of improvements
• The software is really expensive

The Adobe Dreamweaver CS 5 has been given a few facelifts and a couple of UI based retouches. Other than that, the software is a casual mix of CS4 predecessors and CS5 version. I used to create websites a few months back, my passion started a couple of years ago and I noticed an amazing deal of change in website making trend. What started as hardcore coding, ended up with virtually assisted software, so that you don’t have to type that much.
The DW CS5 interface is basically split into three principal modes;

• Coding
• Designing
• Splitting

The above features offer a great deal of accessibility and ease to a “coder”. You can either choose to work on the front end or if you have a knowhow of coding, then this is where “Split” mode helps you out. And believe me, a good coder is far better than some numb nut who likes to pretend that he’s an excellent webpage designer but doesn’t know the first thing about coding.

Verdict on Dreamweaver CS5:

The software offers little or none in terms of improvements and I’d only recommend it to those people who are still using the CS3 edition of Dreamweaver.
