RIM Awarded Global Mobile Award For Best Mobile Enterprise Product

RIMAt the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, Spain, it was awards time. Research In Motion (RIM) was awarded the Global Mobile Award for Best Mobile Enterprise Product.

The award selection is judged by an independent industry panel. The favor went to BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5, which was given the recognition as the most innovative mobile tool to help organizations “work smarter and do business better on the move.

It is known that BlackBerry Enterprise Server is RIM’s server software for business mobility. With it, IT managers are provided easy controls and more capability to manage their organisation’s mobile devices efficiently. This capability includes the ability to control over 450 configurable policies. The configurable policies include setting passwords, disabling mobile applications and remotely wiping data on stolen devices.

The networks offer their thanks to end-to-end AES 256-bit encryption which made this possible.
