Three major wireless carriers have shifted their focus from voice plans to data plans as AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile will soon introduce some changes to the plans they offers. Both AT&T and Verizon Wireless will introduce new unlimited voice plans on Monday while also offering different data plan packages. The introduction of reduced talk plans shows the future of wireless companies will likely revolve around data plan with the increased number of users who seek to surf the internet and check their email or even play games using their smartphones and other 3G devices.
T-mobile is expected to follow suit in adjusting its plans despite the fact the carrier already offers cheaper unlimited call plans and has an unlimited data plan as well. It remains to be seen how much T-mobile will do in terms of changing its prices to remain competitive with the two largers companies AT&T and Verizon.
