Googe: Group files complaints with FTC against Google Buzz

BuzzEPIC which stands for Electronic Privacy Information Center lodged a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) against Google’s social networking service Buzz.

The EPIC argued Google Buzz must be an optional service whereby users have the ability to opt for the service if they want, otherwise Google would have no right to automatically add Gmail users to the social networking service. EPIC also want to make sure Google does not use the address book contacts in Gmail to create or form social networking lists.
