Traffic updates in UK now available on iPhone

The UK’s Highways Agency has announced the launch of a free app for iPhone users which helps them remain updated on the latest traffic conditions on the road.

The app provides live updates on road congestion and roadwork using NTCC which stands for the National Traffic Control Centre. This will serve as a planning tool for users who want to avoid traffic and delays. Obviously no one recommends users to get on their iPhones to check the app while driving but rather to take a break or make a stop and simply check the conditions while not on the move.
