In a race for developing new rechargeable – electricity powered motor cars, Tesla Motors Inc said that it will deliver two prototypes to Toyota Motor Crop. This month is going to set a new land mark for both companies. After the transfer of those prototypes, Toyota will move one step closer to being the world’s largest hybrid car manufacturer.
Last month, Toyota said that they are willing to make investment of $50 million in Tesla – a move purely intended to deliver hybrid electricity cars to American and international buyers. Since the last announcement on this topic, both Toyota and Tesla have made immense progress.
Both prototypes will be delivered by the end of July and Toyota will put them to test run for select number of clients. The association of Tesla and Toyota is not intended to grab attention. Right now, Tesla is making great progress independently, as a next gen manufacturer for electronic car batteries. They are the only ones in the market (cough cough — Exaggerated statement. Pssst…BMW is also working on the Megacity Vehicle project and they’re manufacturing everything on their own).
Toyota is studying different approaches towards power consumption and car engine efficiency. Right now, Test and Toyota have large batteries in common and both companies want to reduce the size and maximize the output of those batteries.
Tesla is also working in collaboration with Germany’s Daimler AG – it is somewhat similar project. Daimler also made an investment of %50 million in Tesla, to create Electricity powered cars.
So in the near future you will probably be able to drive a hybrid car.
