UK Headmaster Tarun Kapur says Facebook is Evil
Manchester England – Monday, July 12, 2010 – ShutterVoice – One of England’s leading teachers from Manchester has launched a withering comment about social network website Facebook which has been described as “evil” and the “scourge of every school”
The teacher is Tarun Kapur CBE who is acknowledged as one of the new breed of super headmasters in Great Britain. Tarun is the executive head of three schools in Greater Manchester. He has banned all pupils in his schools from using Facebook, as he has advocated that using the network is “dangerous” His stand is on the basis that the site is misused and is a virulent source used for bullying pupils online. Then when the bullying takes place, the teachers are left with “picking up all the pieces” of the bullying, wherein teachers have to restore tranquility and friendliness back into all the classrooms and the relevant pupils
‘Maybe we do not always agree with teachers, but Tarun Kapur seems right about the abusive use of Facebook’
