The Indian based HP headquarters have developed a new cloud based technology, which they all like to call “SiteonMobile”. This technology will simplify the accessibility of content and various transactions on the Web.
To make it simple, all SiteonMobile does is that it navigates the user across the Web through a number of steps to achieve a certain task. All steps are based on the cloud based application, which is called TaskLet.
Mobile phone users are able to access specific information on the Web or they can complete a transaction online. All they need is an SMS or they can also call up a number that will invoke the relevant TaskLet objective. A spokesman for HP said that India has more than 600 million users who are using mobile connections. Most people are going to access the Web through our new services and their mobile devices.
What makes this whole cloud based experience a joy ride, is that users don’t have to have vast programming knowledge. They can create a variety of TaskLets for different online services that include airline tickets, daily horoscope and much more.
A decision for the commercialization of SiteonMobile has been initiated yet. Right now, HP’s main objective is to develop and strengthen SiteonMobile further, so that users can be benefited in the long run.
