In the Mobile World Congress (MWC), Microsoft CEO, Steve Balmer is to announce their next generation mobile operating system. Some screenshots of the Windows Mobile 7 interface have leaked onto the web even before it has become official.
Engadget was luck enough to able to capture some images of the interface of the highly anticipated device.
From the screen shots, it appears that Microsoft has gone in with a simplified approach rather than an iPhone way. An iPhone Home Screen has loads of icons filled up to 20, whereas Microsoft’s next generation windows 7 home screen looks simplistic.
The unannounced Microsoft phone appears to have a Home button, Back button and what appears to be a “Search” button.
It is very interesting that the screenshots are leaked just 2 hours before Steve Balmer is to make a keynote about this latest device in Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
