Though the auction items are not purchased by Diana, they remain the properties of her family for several hundred years. One of the valuable item that will be auctioned is a painting by Peter Paul Rubens titled “Commander Being Armed for Battle” that is owned by the family since 1802.
The painting features a man with a beard. The man is believed to be the Roman Emperor Charles V. who is clad in his armor. The painting is expected to sell for $8 – $12 million pounds.
