Sentry LXE is the new touch sensitive fan controller for desktop PCs. It was released by NZXT and the company released this product after heeding to an overgrowing demand of hardcore PC gamers – “All those gamers needed a high-tech cooling kit, so we had to release something with a patent pending PCI card, a touch screen LCD and new features” – said an NZXT spokesman.
Johnny Hou – Founder and Chief Designer at NZXT informed us about the unique blend of performance and new facilities that the Sentry LXE provides. The customization capabilities of this new fan controller are going to be perfect for someone who needs to tweak every single aspect of airflow and system thermals.
For instance, the 5 fan controllers on the Sentry LXE are all touch sensitive and you can set fan speed for an individual fan in your chassis. Furthermore, if you’ve set a particular temperature for your casing, then an inbuilt alarm on the Sentry LXE will go off, notifying you about the rise in temperature.
So far, NZXT hasn’t released a confirmed release date for this product and consumers will have to get along with keeping tabs on the Sentry LXE for now.
