Maxell to Release Ergomotion Mouse and Keyboard

Maxell, the legendary floppy disk developer, released a mouse and keyboard duo that was based on the company’s Ergomotion technology. To be honest, Maxell wasn’t getting enough lime light as a physical media developer so they just diverted their efforts to the development of innovative computer accessories.

Maxel-to-Release-Ergomotion-Mouse-and-Keyboard Starting off with the mouse, the first thing that anyone will notice is that it is on a pedestal, which allows the mouse to tilt around. This tilting motion lets you find your favorite spot, where you like to rest your hand and the comfortability factor really jabs in at this point.

At times, we are hunched over our PC, while standing up and resting one hand on the mouse. It’s the most cumbersome and irritating angle for our wrists; with the pedestal under the Maxell mouse, your writs don’t bend that much. As a result, it gives you a relaxed hand posture.

The ergonomic models of the mouse are available in both laser and optical editions. The laser version is clad in black, whereas the optical edition is available in red, blue or grey colors.

The second product by Maxell was the Ergomotion based keyboard that has a price tag of $150. It enhances the ergonomics by allowing both your hands to move slightly, letting you find the right spot for typing down. If you are satisfied at a certain angle of the keyboard, you can lock it at that point because Maxell provided the “lock” feature as well. However, the keyboard requires power and you can only get away with the USB version of it.

Mac users will have to sulk because this keyboard is only available to the PC community, but the good thing is that the mouse will work fine on both platforms, so cheerios to that…
