A release for the PlayStation 3 version of Section 8 is still on the cards, according to IGN.

It is claimed that a representative of TimeGate has confirmed that a release is on the cards, but did not reveal as to precisely when this would take place.

Section 8 was originally meant to be for multiple platforms, as it was initially announced for Xbox 360, PC, as well as PS3.
