iphone4 vs iphone 3gs speed test

Recently, a website MacRumors has posted some very interesting results as far as Apple iPhone users and fanatics are concerned. Apple iPhone4 has been the Apple latest mega release which saw thousands flock to get hold of this trendy new phone by the Apple. iPhone4 has been introduced with a lot of new features that include some changes in the hardware having front camera and software with iOS4.

iPhone4 is the center of attention among all the tech Bloggers and the gadget freaks these days so carrying on with this same enthusiasm, MacRumors, an iDevices based blogging site, posted some speed and performance comparison results in which iPhone4 has been benchmarked with the likes of iPhone 3GS and iPad.

The two significant results from the study that might caught attention and cause stir among these gadgets users are mainly that iPhone 4 is almost 31% faster than the previous version i.e. iPhone 3GS. But, the interesting inference is that iPhone 4 is slower than iPad which is also powered by the same costumed designed Apple Processor i.e. A4 processor chip.

The Apps which have checked this speed variance includes the likes of GeekBench 2, BenchTest and Checkup. Although, these third party apps are not some standard for measuring the speeds and not the ideal gauges for the device, but for head to head comparison they are quite good.

Moreover, the results from the study have not been consistent as well, for example BenchTest showed that iPhone 4 is marginal edge for speed when compared with 3GS but for           Checkup App results were quite different. Although, some glitches are there in the study as iPad is not running on iOS4 so MacRumors have given the reason of inconsistency to be not the same nature of the Apps.

Although, majority of the iPhone users will be very much satisfied as far as their device speed is concerned, but comments from the readers are required so that the study can further be consolidated.
