Google has finally hit the South Florida market with the portable notebook equipped with an operating system that is popular with cellphones- The Android Operating System. When you compare electronic devices that operate with the same operating system you will find that the Skating Alpha 680 that is currently making waves in the China markets is using this operating system. This device has been developed for users in the developed countries and Asus, the Taiwanese Company also sells a mini-notebook with the Android OS. There is another alternative to the Windows OS and that is Linux. It is simpler to use and it offers more freedom to its users. This system also has an added advantage as its installation is free and it can also operate from any computer. Besides Android there is another operating system that ensures good performance and that is Moblin and it is currently the platform that is widely being used for Intel’s Linux. Windows XP is currently taken to be an ultraportable operating system because it requires few computing resources like notebooks. Experts claim that if Android OS continues to grow stronger it can also be an operating system that can also be used in desktop computers all over the world successfully.

Google invades the market with the Android OS and it poses to be stiff completion to Microsoft’s Windows OS that is the most widely used OS in the world.
