Google chrome and video- what's the hype about

There’s a lot of hype over Google’s chrome; in fact, it has recently integrated Adobe’s Flash directly into the browser. This Tuesday Chrome 5.0.376.86 was introduced over Google’s stable channel. Mac, Linux and Windows users can download it easily. The update also comprises of five bug fixes including two that are relevant to video handling. Before Flash and Chrome became one, you had to download an individual plug in for facilitating Flash. As per the Chrome blog, Flash has been “enabled by default”. But then, who aren’t much in favor of Flash, have harsh words for Adobe. In fact, CNN has come up with an effective solution, i.e. Remove it on the whole by typing in the words  ’about:plugins’ in the Chrome address bar. Soon you will notice a list of disable tabs as well as plug- ins that you need to shut down.

Of late there is a lot of hype about Adobe Flash. Adobe and Apple feuded publicly about Flash on the iPad. But then, towards the end we came to know that Apple has rejected Flash on the whole. HTML5 is also supported by Google. In the early half of this week, Adobe transferred Flash Player 10.1 to smartphone makers. The latest version of Android i.e. version 2.2 also supports Flash, bringing the future of online games as well as video to smartphones. There are only a couple of Android smartphones that will receive Froyo.

Google also introduced Google voice this Tuesday. Voice that premiered in invite-only fashion until one year ago, offers you with one phone number which directs calls to your cells, work or home phone based on the rules you set. Google Voice was referred to as GrandCentral before Google purchased the company in the year 2007, July. To conclude, it can be rightly said that Google’s video is said to create a positive impact!
