Most of the internet browsers don’t realize that they don’t get the speed that they deserve. It’s been 15 years since Microsoft launched Internet Explorer to complete with Netscape Navigator and still there are new browsers being launched like Mozilla, Google Browser, Opera, Apple and others. The survey was conducted by FCC and shockingly nearly 70% of the internet users believe that they get the connection speed that had been promised by their ISP users at least mostly if not all the time.

But the truth is that no one experiences the speeds anywhere near what their ISP claim to offer and not when it comes to web surfing. But off course that is not the fault of ISP. And that is the reason why ISP advertise download speeds which to more or less remain the same and if that is downloaded from their server you get the optimum speed.
