New Blackberry Applications in 2010

In June, many new Blackberry Applications are launched in June. The functions of most of the new applications are used to connect to solutions such as Vocera communications system. Several new Blackberry Applications offers standalone functionality.

eVoice released a new Blackberry app that allow users to perform many messaging functions with their phone. The free app allows you to answer and route your phone calls. You will be able to find the voicemails you have saved.

Huddle, the cloud collaboration provider creates a Blackberry app which enables users to gain access to the sharing functionality in Huddle. The app also let you perform project tasks and discussions. It allows you to conveniently have access to the user’s dashboard. It offers a free read only version. The full version of the app is sold for $4.99.

Google Maps allows you to find the place you want to go easily. You can use Google Maps to discover delays in traffic and get information about the turn by turn directions.  The GPS functionality gives you the ability to find your way without the need of installing a GPS receiver in your Blackberry phone.

BBWeather app informs you about the weather in the city you live in .You can set up create different profiles for a number of locations. You will be able to view the weather forecast in advance of 2 – 10 days. The BBWeather app provides weather information such as wind, humidity, and date.

The Opera Mini is a mini version of the Opera browser that you can use to browse the internet. The Opera browser included in Blackberry is lousy as it does not offer nice page view and the page load very slow. The Opera Mini allows you to view in landscape mode and save your pages to the bookmark folder.
