Now Blackberry has begun to save lives
A woman from Dayton, Ohio has been saved because her Blackberry was in the right place at the right time, as a gun that was fired accidentally saw the Blackberry acting as a bullet proof.
The bullet struck the woman’s leg, but the Blackberry prevented her from being in a position that may have caused serious injury.
“While he was adjusting his jacket, he noticed that the slide was back on the gun and then it fired,” said local police captain Carl Bush, as quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald.
“The bullet did not penetrate the cell phone. [It only] bent the cell phone a little bit and made the cell phone unusable.
“The BlackBerry was in the right place at the right time and the bullet hit her in the right spot.”
