Samsung Captivate Smart Phone To Be Launched By AT&T

Samsung Telecommunications America and AT&T have announced their latest plans which includes the launch of Samsung Captivate , Galaxy S Smart Phone. The Samsung Captivate runs on Android 2.1 and is powered by AT&T’s High Speed Packet Access 7.2 Mbps Technology.

Samsung Captivate comes with a 4 inch SUPER AMOLED Display Screen along with 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird Application processor. Together with Samsung Social Hub, your Social Networking thirst will come to an end. New features of the phone include 3D Sound Capabilities which promises a lot.

For gamers, there is a six axis sensor, an accelerometer and gyroscope to provide an enhanced gaming experience. When we touch upon the User Interface, there is support for Multi-Gestures with Zoom (Both Horizontal and Vertical), long tap and swapping.

The Samsung Captivate comes with an onscreen QWERTY Keyboard supported by Swype technology. So, what about the Camera? Yes, it comes with a pretty good 5 MP Camera with Auto Focus and HD Video Recording. For music lovers, there is obviously a Music Player. Your entire multimedia package can be slotted in the phone with the memory expandable up to 16 GB. The phone also comes with AT&T Navigator and free access to AT&T’s national Wi-Fi network.

When it comes to Connectivity options, Captivate doesn’t disappoint you. With support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3, HTML Browser, DLNA Technology, you can easily share user generated content. With DLNA you can seamlessly transfer video content wireless with other DLNA supported devices. With whole lot of features, the phone is definitely going to provide a good performance due to the high end processor that comes with it.
