YouTube Video EditorThis new video editing tool allows you to edit together separate clips, combine them, add, change, remove background music using YouTube’s AudioSwap Library which enlists the songs available.

This YouTube’s new video editing tool is still at its basic level. It can be pretty useful for those who want to do quick editing jobs as mentioned above. Google also hinted that this new YouTube Video Editor tool will be integrated in Google Chrome for seamless editing.

The Basic features of editing includes trimming videos, creating playlists, separate audio tracks and instant publishing to YouTube directly. Being a basic function, this new YouTube video editor can’t be relied on for big editing jobs and the editor is not intended to do so. It cannot replace a desktop video editor. But its always useful when you want to cut the introduction part or any frame and include something else along with modifications in Audio. After all everything is available in Browser seamlessly.

YouTube Player is Flash, but its controls are JavaScript. YouTube has made this a cloud based for a number of reasons. The major one being that, the video editing takes place in YouTube’s server which means your system is not loaded heavily for high profile editing. YouTube has not revealed any plans about its mobile version, but looking at the technology on the whole, we could expect it sooner than later.

“YouTube Video Editor is basic and necessary for users to make quick edits without use of an external software and it reduces a lot time.”
