Adobe Brings Flash Based Ads to Apple iPhone and iPad

Adobe has struck a deal with ad company Greystripe. By this Adobe can deliver Flash content to Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Adobe has chosen Greystripe due to its ability to convert Flash Content into HTML5.

Its a known fact that Apple devices don’t support Flash content. With HTML5 being the latest format with more powerful features, Flash was almost dying. Adobe has made this step with this in mind.

Apple prefers HTML5 with its new Ad Network named Apple iAd. Apple doesn’t seem to look like its going to support Flash anytime in the future. Adobe has just learned its lessons. Knowing Flash cannot be directly implemented in Apple’s devices, they have taken this wise decision. This could well mean a better market for Flash than before.

In addition to Apple, Adobe-Greystripe Partnership will also work together to provide Flash based content for Android Platform and other devices that support only HTML5.

Even if Apple and Adobe don’t get together with an agreement of providing Flash content native in Apple Products, HTML5 is here to grow big. The advertisers are slowly moving to HTML5 as the standard Ad Platform and Flash is definitely seeing a dip.
