Major Security Fix from Microsoft

Security is such a delicate issue that no one likes to compromise with and whenever faced problems, brought down market value of that particular application or company. Recent examples are Google when they exploited important private data through unsecured Wi-Fi access and had to explain itself in front of the whole world. Or the popular Facebook which lost a major portion of traffic due to its security loophole which is consistently bugging its engineers and users resulting in decrease in the reputation.

Recently Google forbade its employees to use Windows Operating System based PC in any of their official work reason behind which was an attack on the Gmail server via a security loophole of the Microsoft Windows & Internet Explorer that eased up the vulnerability.

But Microsoft seems to learn from its mistakes and release a major security update for all the possible faults and security loopholes that could be possible for such nuisance again. The fix consist 10 Security Bulletin published that depicts about 34 critical security updates for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office & Internet Explorer.

These updates were designed to stop further attack on the operating systems and default major applications that had buggy command scripts which were vulnerable to the hackers. The security fixes also contain updates for Share Point Service 3.0 and SharePoint Server 2007 which was last updated in April of 2010 and unless updated would lead to a vulnerable Cross Site Scripting Attack via browsers like Internet Explorer. The Proof of concept Exploit codes detailing about the loopholes has also been published by Microsoft to help in the security issue.

Although Microsoft is trying to hold their position with Windows Operating System, we will keep you updated if any more major companies turn their back on the Windows Operating System & its Applications.
