The major device manufacturers who are dreaming to showcase their tablet device with advantage over Apple iPad can erase the thought of showing disadvantage of iPad as lack of Flash support as Apple has already found the alternative and campaigning loudly to replace it on the major areas where Adobe Flash is used. The new web standard is called HTML 5 and it can not only be used to make videos and animations but also handy to make Designs, Transitions, Effects, and Audio etc efficiently more than what Adobe Flash could handle.
The main purpose of HTML 5 is not to use a video standard for the iPad but to energize the developers and users to use this instead of flash where Apple stand a no usage policy against Adobe. It was not far ago when Apple and Adobe felt into a fight with each other with the Flash vide standard. Apple started it calling the Flash Codec ‘Buggy’ and prohibiting the developers to use Adobe Emulator to create any application for any Apple device.
Apple is trying to showcase the HTML 5 along with CSS 3 and Java Script as the future generation web standard to develop, build and use in all the possible areas of the internet. And letting the users to experience its new features built with the HTML 5 and Java Script.
The popularity of iPad force the developers to build applications and games in this new web standard but it’s really challenging for the new web standard to make its place where Flash is leading all the way, like user friendly web video standard where sites like YouTube are one of the best traffic sites with the help of flash technology.
It will be suffice to say that despite Apple backing it, the HTML 5 has a long way to go before replacing the Flash completely.
