The demand of the technology world is faster program execution and instant output result which preceded one step forward with the invention of quantum computing technique that can actually be used in day to day life such as portable devices. The Quantum Mechanical Phenomenon known as entanglement has been successfully created by a light semiconductor chip that is known as Entangled Light Emitting Diode (ELED) which is a great advancement of science towards a new generation of compact faster chips.
The progression basically is described as a possibility of a new generation of semiconductor chips that will work by the principle of quantum mechanics through the direct use of Entangled light property. The result will be a faster processor that will be a lot compact than today’s ones, nearly a miniature size processor comparing what we see now.
The entangled light root to this technique was created by combining a quantum dot with Light Emitting Diode light that has specific quantum property as well as serves a lot better than all of the fields where LED is used.
Scientist Mark Stevenson and his colleagues at Toshiba Research Centre of Cambridge, London was the lead inventor of this light entanglement technology that can be used to create specific purpose ELED lights by attaching a simple device with any small voltage battery.
As LED and Semiconductor chips are the heart of todays computing technology, this invention is a threshold to enter the era of quantum computing. The compact chips will not only save space by using this technique but also will be quite faster, cooler and less power consuming. Quantum computing ready devices that can be used commercially are expected to be released within the next five years from now although they will not be cost effective at the beginning.
We are looking forwarding to its endless applications and waiting for any compatible market release
