The PSP Go Marketing Formulae

In the console world, Sony leads in the first quarter of 2010 with its Play Station 3 courtesy to the most amazing PS3 game ever – The God of War 3 that ruled over any Nintendo Wii or Microsoft Xbox games but Sony is not entirely winner regarding other portable console like PSP Go.

The PSP go is a handheld portable console which must be connected to the internet for playing, downloading or interacting with games, it doesn’t support any physical media. And the PSP Go is priced highly considering its features, maybe there are the reasons this console is on the falling edge of the sales graph which they are trying to improve by giving away free games for the console owners.

The pack of games that Sony is giving away free to PSP Go owners contains some old games but as well as new refurbished games like :

• Gran Turismo.that is worth €34.99
• Grand Theft Auto that costs €34.99
• 2010 FIFA World Cup which is priced at €39.99
• Little Big Planet that is worth €36.99

And other 6 games pack which will be downloadable free of cost from the Sony’s online PlayStation Network Store.

This facility of free games pack is not available yet, but will come into place on June and will be showcased as sales promotion probably during the conference at Electronic Entertainment Expo that will be held on the middle of June 2010 at Las Vegas.

Sony will be soon releasing its next generation portable console the PSP 2 that is rumored to be called the ‘PSP Touch’ for which this sales promotion may be the staircase to rise up the graph along its way.
