ModNation Racers release date confirmed

Sony has made a great deal of improvement in their sales figure of first quarter of this year by God of War 3 and more games are coming from them to uphold this lead in the console market. ModNation Racers is the upcoming Cart racing Game being released by Sony in their PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable Console coming in the market shortly.

The game will lay its main focus on customization that would be done by the players during the gameplay. The developer of this game, United Front Games conveyed the idea of “Play, Create & Share” through this game with online distributing partner LittleBigPlannet to give emphasis on user generated content and level modification.

Drifting and timed acceleration will be the key point of skilled improvement throughout the different levels of this game; there will be advanced tools like Sonic Attacks, Missile Launchers, and Lightening Strikes to stupefy the opponent. These weapons are to be gathered during the gameplay and three levels of improvement that can be achieved while collecting powers. As the game genre is mainly racing type, these weapons will help in creating obstacles for the opponent, and the whole gameplay is based on a burly story written by Hollywood’s proficient writers.

This game was first officially announced in the E3 of 2009 after while an online beta version was released in the Internet at the end of 2009 in USA and at the beginning of 2010 at Europe. The main full version game will release commercially in USA on the 25^th May of 2010 in both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable version and later in Europe & other countries.

The game is already at the pre-order in web stores like Amazon who is giving this in $59.99 as a special price with facilities like $10 game credit discount and $5 mp3 credit.
