Finally HTC and sprint announced release date and price of the most advanced mobile of this era, HTC Evo 4G that tech geeks had been waiting for a long time. The next gen mobile will be coming in market on June 4, 2010 and it will come in an incredibly cheap price tag of $200 considering the gears it is packed with. Evo is launching in time span when no other mobiles that could match its hardware is coming in the market, apart from the Apple iPhone 4 whose release date hasn’t been announced yet and Evo 4G’s brother Droid Incredible besides it got enough hype already to get kick start in the market.
Along with the first 4G communication ready phone, HTC also some really cool features, one of which is Wi-Fi Hotspot capability. While running on the 4G network, HTC Evo can work as a Wi-Fi hotspot allowing up to 8 devices to connect through it. And it is one of the rare wireless devices that can stream YouTube in HD courtesy to the lightening fast Sprint 4G network. The HTC Evo is expected to run on the Android mobile operating system version 2.1 but it won’t be a big surprise if it is seen running the latest version 2.2 as that will be coming out before it launches.
Sprint already sustained loss when they carried Palm Pre which was a total failure and the company has been sold out to Hewlett Packard so this time Sprint is expecting to get a jump on its sale along with most of the users subscribing to their package for $80 per month along with the data plan for 4G that includes $10 in that total charge.
We are waiting to see if HTC Evo s up to fulfilling this craze for Smartphone.
