Microsoft stepped into the battle of cloud computing

With the release of Microsoft Office Web Apps, Microsoft stepped forward into the market of cloud computing that was ruled single handedly by another software giant Google with the Online Google Docs application. But since the trend has come in the market that no one is letting to take sole market share of anything, like Google is developing tablet to end monarchy of Apple iPad, similarly Microsoft is trying to take on Google in cloud computing with the release of this new web app.

In this new version of Microsoft office, there are several changes than the current Microsoft Office 2007. One of the main features that changed is the power point video editing facility that let the users who have permission to access any presentation to change and edit any embedded video besides creating one. Some features of remarkable Microsoft Office Picture manager has been incorporated into the Power Point & Word to enable users moderate editing of any image inside the document or presentation without changing the application. There are many more that features cam e into the special online version of Microsoft Office like real-time updating of documents, images and embedded videos despite being used by several users simultaneously.

The whole new generation of Office online will enable to share documents and files among many people along with specifying their level of access by the admin, one of the most versatile features of the Cloud Computing. The files will also be stored in remote server instead of being stored in personal computers, laptops or company server. Apart from the risk of important documents being shared online, could computing has been quite famous since Google launched their Google Docs and it is expected to be better in the upcoming days.
