Turns out that Facebook is guilty of not deleting contents

The heated debate on whether Facebook is deleting the contents that has been chosen by its users to be deleted is still continuing. A lot of individuals as well as groups have made out an experiment on whether these contents are deleted in the long run or not.

Some has made experiments over a year ago to see when Facebook will delete the content fully from its servers. Turns out that even after a year, that particular content still existed in the Facebook server and although the content is nowhere to be found in the person’s profile, it can still be reached by using the old URL.

Facebook claimed that it deletes all the content immediately once users opt to delete their content from the profile but it conflicts with the experiment that has been done by independent parties.
