Netflix to polish up relation with major studios
Netflix is one of the largest content distributors in the Internet but it caters to mostly the United States audiences. Earlier today, the company decided to renew its contract with two major studios which are the Twentieth Century Fox and Universal Studios.
Netflix received streaming licenses for some of Fox’s TV series which includes famous names such as “Bones”, “24”, King of the Hill and a lot more. In fact, Netflix is the first distributor that has been given such a privilege by Twentieth Century Fox. In addition to that, Netflix users may expect the blockbuster film “Avatar” to be available soon in the future.
As for the Universal Studios license, most contents will be available after 28 days since the street release of the movie. This allows a cut in the cost of getting these movies. The first release for the Universal Studios license is for the movie “It’s Complicated” which will be released 28-days after the release of the Blu-Ray and DVD versions.
