Nvidia ION 2 to be released in various computers

The Nvidia ION was quite a success amongst netbook users as although it is not as good as the higher end graphic cards, it works 10 times better as compared with an integrated graphic card. The ION 1 showed users that these netbooks are capable of playing a full HD video without a glitch.

The ION 2 is said to be better than the ION 2 with a noticeable increase in performance. The battery life of netbooks using the ION 2 will be longer as compared with a dedicated graphic card. 3D games will also run although not as good as with a higher end dedicated graphic card.

However, the technology behind the ION 2 isn’t available to only the netbook users. In fact, the Lenovo C200 will also support the ION 2 computer graphic technology at a cost of $499. A version without the ION 2 will also be available at $399.

ION 2 gives out a stellar performance at a budget price. Games such as Sims 3 can be played without a problem through the ION 2. We highly recommend getting netbooks with the ION 2 graphic processor.
