iPad has been centre of the focus since Apple announced its details & its launch. And after it launched yesterday, the one application everybody is talking about is iBook. Apple iBook is the application for reading eBooks in iPad, which is made an amazing experience by this software. Till now eBook readers and normal computers made the book reading rather mechanical, that is presented in an excellent real life way in the iBook. Kindle, Pi and other eBook readers only made their device able of reading pdf format but Apple iPad presented in a way that everybody will be thrilled while reading and enjoying it.
iBook comes with a virtual wooden book shelf which is used to fetch books from and designed in real life way by the tap of finger. After fetching, the book opens in double paged way, which is adjusted nicely in the whole screen. The most exciting is the flip of pages which is presented with shadows and marvelous animation, exactly like turning a page in a hardcopy by hand.
iBook has all the features necessary for adjustment of the book and enhance reading pleasure, like chapter button, brightness control, font size, face options & search menu. Some menus like copy, paste, bookmarking and search menu are fetched by gentle and long push of the fingertip. It is extremely easy to use and great pleasure while reading; we can adjust the font, set the pages orientation and do everything that is possible to do while using a pdf or any other format eBook.
When it was anticipation if iPad can replace Amazon Kindle or not everybody expressed doubt but after official launch of iPad every doubt has been clear by this single application that iPad is way ahead of such eBook reader devices. It not only enhances reading pleasure but also create iBook experience which feels like reading the physical volume holding in hand.
Along with everyone we are waiting to see if iPad will permanently replace Kindle or people will still opt for eBook readers as iPad is costlier.
