Google Apps to remotely wipe files from certain smartphones

Google2Google seems to have its hand in nearly everything relating to the internet and mobile phones. Google has just supplied Google Apps with the ability to remotely delete data from lost or stolen iPhones. This feature as well as others will be available to those who have Google Apps Premier and Education Edition.

The feature will work with iPhones, Windows Mobile smartphones and Nokia E series devices. At this point, the Google Apps cannot be used to manage smartphone devices using Google’s Android OS. The search engine giant did confirm it will be working on enable Google Apps to work on the Android OS.
