Verizon Wireless users will not have the iPhone this year

It is looking increasingly likely that AT&T will keep its hold as the exclusive mobile network which carries the iPhone. There was speculation regarding Verizon Wireless and the desire of the company to have a deal with Apple to launch the iPhone as part of its smartphone devices lineup.

Now, news is emerging to confirm this is unlikely to happen before the end of 2010 and perhaps even not before late 2011 as AT&T looks to put behind its negative image as a provider with an unstable wireless network.
