In recent weeks YouTube, which is owned by searchengine giant Google, has started its movie rental service, in cooperation with Sundance Film Festival, and acted as the platform for interviewing (by question format) U.S. President Barack Obama. As if these were not enough, now Univision is set to launch on YouTube.
This launch will be sponsored by Kraft and will include popular shows from TeleFutura and Galavision. Besides featuring popular shows from the three networks targeting Spanish speakers, this Univision launch will also include videos from the channel’s website such as hit programs like drama series Killer Women (Mujeres Asesinas) and a morning show as well as the news magazine.
