RIM to Launch a New Slide Phone

There seems to be a new rumor surrounding Research In Motion or RIM, the company behind the famous Blackberry smartphones. It was said that a new slider phone is in the making and it may be a part of the Bold family as well if the product exists.

The release of the much anticipated Bold 2 or Onyx and Storm 2 proved to profit the company in many ways and allow it to gain a higher market share in the smartphone arena. The normal Bold was also a big success for RIM as it is much speedier and better in many ways as compared with the older Blackberrys.

Some photos were sneakily taken by people believed to be from RIM itself. In fact, there was a physical comparison between the new phone and the Blackberry 9700. The slider phone is a bit thicker and longer as compared with the 9700. However, this does not come as a surprise as the slide feature may take a bit more space as compared with a non-slide phone.

There is more to come and Blackberry fans all around the world are hoping for new photographs and a possible press release by the manufacturer itself.
