Is this officially announced ? but HD suits much better than “4″, still its apple choice to name what ever they need for there product

sounds nice to me.But it does have other features also.Why are the so specific only about the HD part.may be iphone FG(face recgnition ) sounds better :-p

Iphone 4G sounds much better than Iphone HD. Anyways Apple is Using this Name Change as a Publicity Stunt according to me.

There are quite a few other rumors floating around about the Apple iPhone 4G. Quite a few design mockups have been sighted – some created by Apple’s development team and others created by enthusiasts. Overall, it seems that minimally outer designs will be similar to the 3G but about 10% thinner. Other improvements may include a change to the SIM card tray, better Push support, and possibly Adobe Flash capabilities.

iPhone HD isn’t really a bad name although it may fit because iPhone 4 is one of the most powerful and highly advanced phones in the world, it just may fit the sequence.

Shame the iPhone ’4G’ isnt 4G capable! Not yet anyway. iPhone HD sounds like Apple trying to copy other manufacturers, they should stck with their numbers system imo.

Iphone 4g is better name then iphone hd as it is continuing with series..!!!
