Facebook: Setting up new base in India

A new move made by the number one social networking site is no other than to expand its office. This time, the company has selected a country in Asia and it is no other than India. Facebook will soon have an operation center located in a city called Hyderabad, India.

This new move is done so that the company will be able to cater people from all over the world around-the-clock. This is because of the difference in the time-zone of both the Asian region as well as the North American region. The operation center in Hyderabad will house an online advertising team as well as a development support team.

Facebook currently has its headquarters in Palo Alto, California and another United States office in Austin, Texas. As for its international office, it currently has only one in Dublin, Ireland and will soon expand to Hyderabad, India.
